Welcome to RSA!

The Reed School Association (RSA) is a parent-run organization, and every Reed Family is a member of this organization.  Throughout the year, the RSA seeks an annual donation, puts on fundraisers as well as free community events, and supports the needs of Reed teachers, staff, and administrators.

Reed Dad's Club

Join the Reed Dad’s Club for an afternoon of giving, competition and fun on Saturday, May 11th from 12:15-3 p.m. at Reed Elementary. All Reed fathers and father figures are invited to attend with their Reed student(s).

We’ll start by preparing meals for two local homeless shelters: Peter and Paul Community Services and St. Patrick Center. Stations will be set up inside the new gymnasium for kids and adults to make sandwiches, assemble the sack lunches, write supportive notes to the recipients, and help load the bagged meals for transport to the shelters. Together, we’ll make nearly 200 meals for local homeless men and women.

Immediately following the philanthropy activity, we’ll hold a Field Day outside on the Reed track and soccer fields (weather permitting). Kids and parents will sign up for competitions during the meal prep for activities including Tug-o-War, soccer, relay races, and other challenges designed to be fun, competitive and in some cases humorous. Most competitions will be children vs. parents, but some surprises may be in store…! Efforts will be made to ensure fairness and fun for all.

This event is free for all Reed families and all supplies will be provided by the Reed Dad’s Club. If you would like to be involved with planning or volunteer day of, please reach out to Rich Fitzer at rcfitzer@gmail.com
